16 October 2009 - 0:08Cool New Games For Your iPhone

It’s one of those moments when you’re sitting around with your friends and there’s absolutely nothing to do. All you need to do then is turn to your iPhone for some inspiration and you’ll find tones! You won’t for a second regret taking a look that all the new games t hit the iTunes store because there’re lots of games here with which you can plenty of fun with our friends!

Doodle Dots

You’ve got to know the old connect the dots game where you need to make the most number of squares by connecting dots so you can beat your opponent? Well this game can now be played on your iPhone, only thing is, you save paper, get 3 different board sizes and difficulty levels and can even pick your own colour to play with. Have fun with the Doodle Dots game!

Fly Must Die

This is the kind of game that will appeal to those who love to simply while away their time in idle pursuits. What you have to do is kill flies with chopsticks. If you think that’s absurd then you need to play this game to change your mind! If you want to kill a fly you must hit it exactly with the tips of the chopstick and if you miss it will fly away. Different colored flies get you different points when you kill them.

Knock Knock Zombies

If you have brats at home who harass your life away wanting to get their hands on your iPhone, because they re fascinated by the way you keep tapping on it, then this game could either repel with or get them to love it even more. Although, the latter seems more likely! With this game, every time they tap on a crypt door, a scary zombie screams out of the door, each time a different one. It sounds scary but that isn’t the case really!

Push – Push

While this game may not be suitable for kids but adults sure can have fun with it! In this game you are an assassin and you have to kill the presented target with home appliances. The target keeps moving so you have to be careful because you might end up hitting a civilian or something else and then the game only gets tougher.

30 September 2009 - 0:11Facing the Facts: Inside Story on Leveling, Farming, PvP, and PvE

As any WoW player might know, the game can get quite addicting. Because of the various aspects the game provides it seems to attract all audiences. Some people love the quest line and can repeat it over and over enjoying each time over and quicker. Some are Auction House experts and love to grind till they can become the richest on the server. Others love the hand-to-hand combat, healing, and adrenaline rush that PvP provides. You can’t forget the PvE’ers either downing the roughest and toughest bosses is their mo. But there is one thing that you rarely see in this game. Someone who is a master of all of these.

I started out as any other player would in Azeroth. All alone no friends nor contacts I ventured out into the world to learn of all the wonderful aspects it provides. It took me months to reach level 60 (at the time the leveling cap), never had gold, was dominated in PvP, and couldn’t get in a Onxyia raid to save my life. I sucked It was only through people who have already mastered the game did I truly learn how to play. So if you personally don’t like spending money. Your fate of the game may lie up to who you know and what they know. Its hard to do any of this by yourself.

I couldn’t wait for all this information to trickle in and having to refer to Google every two seconds for advice crashed my game play as well. So I searched for a online service to put me up to the top. Let me say this the only thing my money got me for these “services” was the knowledge that some Chinese gold farming slave got a little richer. I couldn’t even hit enter to confirm my purchase before they entered my account and started to strip it bare. Never ever use any of these services trust me I know they don’t work.

Last, but not least is guides. My first impression on most online guides were a sour one. Almost bitter sweet. Every guide that I thought was the one looked good, but just was plain crap when I bought the guide. Really to be honest I actually thought of giving up WoW because I already lost everything on my account and every guide I bought didn’t help at all.

As you can tell I still play WoW, and I have achieved everything I dreamed of and more. I am finally leet status. ☺ It was a hard journey, but I just couldn’t give up the game I love. Not after how much time and money I threw into it. Reading the WoW forums I meet my friend Dave Farrell a fellow WoW addict. Every thing he posted on the forums was right on point and I was asking some questions trying to plug him for all his knowledge. He emailed me back stating that he was just using some excerpts from his WoW guides. Instantly I felt violated and I didn’t even hear the sales pitch, but oddly enough he didn’t give me a sales pitch. He gave me a challenge. He said if I bought his WoW guide that if I wasn’t satisfied with the results from it that he would hand over his account. I couldn’t buy his guides quick enough. I figured If I skimmed through them tried some of the techniques, addons, etc. wait a couple days and state the fact that his guide “doesn’t work” I would get a free account. My friend I may not own his account, but his challenge was the best choice I have ever made. Everything I could want from PvP, leveing, PvE, gold farming, even as specific as Midsummer Festival could be found on his online guide. Let me extend the same challenge offered to me to you. Buy his guides, try them, and if you truly do not like them I will give up my account to you. Level 80 hunter Don’t like hunters? Sell my account then, it will easily get $300-$400. Don’t know how to sell accounts, I will do it for you. If you have any questions email me at MyWoWChallenge@gmail.com, aim is zero0409, if your ambitious I will even let you call me on my cell phone.

5 May 2009 - 0:05Getting Wii Games On The Cheap

It doesn’t matter, if your buying a PS3, a XBOX 360, a PS3, a iPhone, Wii, or a Dsi. If your one of the first in line to buy one, you get to pay a little extra. It makes me wonder why people stand in those lines for just that privilege. I however tend to be a little late to the party, and get to play with the same toys, for less money. When it comes to getting cheap games for the Wii, I know just where to look.

Renting games, is one possible alternative. Your local video store likely has game rentals for a little more than the price of a DVD rental. They usually have the latest titles, and it’s cheaper than paying full price for a game you may not even like.

The other alternative, is renting by mail, with a monthly membership fee. The fee is fixed, and usually around $20 give a take a little. The nice thing is, you can play as many games as you like every month. You usually pick a game of their website, they send it to you via mail, you play it till your bored, send it back, then they send you another.

The obvious advantages to renting games is that you never get stuck paying full price for a game you only play a few times. Choice, is another advantage. The game rental companies usually have thousands of titles to choose from. Imagine, it’s like having the biggest room in your house filled with nothing buy shelves and shelves of video games. That’s kind of what it’s like. Except, with a monthly membership, you actually get to keep furniture in that big room.

Most Wii console owners are families. Family gamers, don’t usually spend a lot of time staying on top of the latest game reviews, so renting makes a lot of sense. Better than paying full price for a lemon of a game.

While, everyone knows you can download games from the internet onto your PC, it seems a little less publicized, that you can do the same thing with your Wii. Their called WiiWare, and their usually pretty inexpensive. They usually go for less than $10. I think some owners are either a little reluctant to hook up their Wii to the internet, or just don’t know how. It’s actually pretty easy, if you already have wireless at home.

For all you young, green loving, Al-Gore-following, save the planet types, that also own a Wii, I truly hope your already buying used Wii games. Or, at least renting games. While it does keep money out of the economy, and in your pants, it also cuts down on our already excessive consumption of plastic, cardboard, Styrofoam, and other packaging materials. Seriously though, pretty much every game ever written for the Wii is on sale used somewhere.

Another tip to keep in mind when buying Wii games (or any games for that matter), is to try and wait a while. Never buy a game just as it hits the store shelves. Especially the big anticipated titles. They almost always get cheaper a couple of months down the road. You’d be amazed, at the great games you can find in a bargain bin.

15 March 2009 - 1:01Some basic facts about Wii features

If you are a videogame player, you are more than likely aware of the fact that Wii features are shaking up the gaming world in the same way Sega Genesis did over a decade ago. The dramatic affect that the features of this gaming system have had to this industry will probably not be truly known until after the next few years. Each and every system on the market is going to have to take a good look at itself and decide how to compete with the Nintendo Wii.

One of the most remarkable Wii features is the Wii remote. It is the first of its kind, as it will allow the player of the game to control the motion on the screen by actually moving the remote. This allows the game player to become more involved in the game and creates a better all-around gaming experience. While this gaming system is loaded with plenty of other premium features, this is far and away one of the more attractive things about the system.

Wii channel’s are another feature of this great gaming system and of course Wii adds their own little touch to it. Instead of having an avatar like you will want other systems, you have a little Mii. The unique thing about this feature is that you can edit your character to basically look like anything you like and some of the games will actually allow you to use this character that you have created in gameplay. There are other channels that are featured here such as the shop channel, the Internet channel, the messageboard channel in the photo channel.

The whole family will enjoy Wii Channels, since there is a variety of entertainment and information to choose from. Anyone can watch mini documentaries, trailers or play their favorite game, or even participate in national and international polls answering the questions they like. There even is a Channel where you can keep up to date about your local, national, and international news and weather.

Below youll find a list of the Wii Channels

The virtual console was initially regarded as the feature set this game apart from all the other consoles. It has the unique ability to allow you to play all of your favorite games from other Nintendo systems on the Nintendo Wii. Think about the differences in how each of these other games were designed, you’ll realize how remarkable this feature is.

As I am sure you know, most modern game systems are pretty much another computer system for the household. They all allow you to do things like connect to the Internet and not have to use a memory card anymore, but none of them take the hardware to the level that the Nintendo Wii does. You get 512 MB of internal memory, into ports, two USB ports and a DVD drive. An added feature is the WiiConnect24 that allows the game to constantly receive updates and game content as long as it is in standby mode.

If you can find any gaming system that delivers what the Nintendo Wii does with all the Wii features, you must be living on another planet. To this day, there is no better experience that a gamer could have been hooking up their Nintendo Wii and diving into the action.
